Puijo Tower
When visiting Kuopio and our area, we highly recommend stopping by the top of Savonia's most famous landmark, Puijo Tower. Regardless of the season, the rolling hills of Kuopio and the lake views of Kallavesi are stunning to behold. Puijo Tower rises an impressive 224 meters above Kallavesi, thanks to the Puijo hill, and the view can be breathtaking! The tower also houses a rotating restaurant that offers dishes featuring the flavors of the Savonia region.
Puijo is also home to excellent outdoor trails, including a disc golf course. Additionally, every year, Puijo is the first in Kuopio to open a paid early snow track for cross-country skiing.

We also recommend visiting the International Grand Market at the square if you're in Kuopio during this time!
